USING THE "CHURCH" WALLS TO RUN SCHOOL IS NOT EVIL
USING THE "CHURCH" WALLS TO RUN SCHOOL IS NOT EVIL
Before and while Jesus Christ was on earth, the temple of worship was in partition with veils according to its degree of holiness
This veil/curtain separated the Holy of Holies from the first altar which was the Holy Place.
The Holy items found in the Holy Place were as below.
1. The Lamp Stand which symbolized LIGHT, signify KNOWLEDGE and Guidance for the children of God.
2. The Table of Showbread, on this were kept 12 fresh loaves of bread to remind the Israelites of God's provisions for the 12 tribes of Israel.
3. The Incense which continues to burn symbolized Continuous Prayer.
The second Altar, the Holy of Holies, contained the Ark of the Covenant. It was here that the priest does his annual sacrifices for atonement for the people.
During this period, the temple was adjudged holy and revered because it housed all sacrifices and the Holy items named above. It abhors sins and its nature. Even the priest dies therein if he has any sin on him.
When Jesus Christ died on the cross; immediately He said it is finished, the Bible said that there was a great earthquake and the veil/curtains demacatting the temple into their various degrees of holiness was torn into two.
Matthew 27:51, NKJV:
Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split.
When this happened, all the holy items contained in the altar were rolled up living the altar empty.
The Blood and the Name of Jesus became our present Altar of mercy. He did all the atonements that would have been taking place in the Holy of Holies.
From this period, all the attention shifted to mankind to be holy instead of walls called "church".
But, does this mean that the worship place should be desecrated? No!
Romans 12:1-2 - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies (Not the walls called "church") a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
1 Peter 2:9 - But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
1 Corinthians 6:20 - For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body (Not "church" walls), and in your spirit, which are God's.
Romans 12:1 - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies (Not "church" walls) a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Romans 6:13 - Neither yield ye your members (Not "church" walls) as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members (Not "church" walls) as instruments of righteousness unto God.
Romans 6:19 - I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members (Not church walls) servants to righteousness unto holiness.
During church services, you sell all forms of ministry materials ranging from books, anointing oil, stickers, and many more.
But, you don't want a mere "church" walls to be used to advance knowledge. — school even when the church service is not on.
What is even school? This simply means provision of knowledge. What do you do when you teach or preach during church service? Same provision of knowledge.
Jesus used provision of knowledge to advance the kingdom.
The early missionaries used provision of knowledge to advance the kingdom.
All the missionary schools were brought in to attract the attention of the people and they used the places of worship to make provision of all these knowledge.
The people Jesus chased out were selling items of sacrifice even when the "church" walls remained holy. They were doing money doubling which is today's MMM, gambling, etc. Money changers are money doublers. They were not providing knowledge. Even Jesus Christ Himself provided knowledge.
Saying that the walls of the "church" won't be used to advance knowledge amounts to hypocrisy and religion.
The lamp stand in the Holy Place simbolised light which further signifies KNOWLEDGE.
What's wrong with KNOWLEDGE advancement.
What do you do when you teach the Bible? — Schooling
What do you do when you teach about money during church service? — Schooling.
What do you do when you teach entreprenur within the walls of the "church" even in your service? — Schooling.
What do you do when you teach technology and their likes during even church services within the walls? — Schooling.
Why are you not teaching only about Christ and the kingdom? You now teach about technology, entrepreneur, money, marriage and relationship, and their likes? It's because you want to use other knowledge-based teachings to keep them so you can have your way to teach them about Jesus Christ and the kingdom of God.
What are we even saying?
Almost all the churches you see today started from the circular school classrooms.
The school ran on week days while the church ran on Sundays and in the evening of some of the week days and souls were won for the kingdom of God. Did they throw away those souls who were won in the classrooms of those circular schools? No! They are even the generals we have in our various churches today.
In some hostile areas where the missionaries found difficult to enter; what did they do to enter those places? They first started school within which they will teach them the Bible and before the people would know, they will see a church running alongside the school.
How did Catholic and the Orthodox churches spread like wild fire? They used the advancing knowledge strategy — the School.
What is wrong with advancing knowledge — schooling?
Nothing is absolutely wrong with schooling my dear.
Schooling simply means knowledge advancement.
And this is not also the knowledge of evil, but the knowledge good.
Is this evil? NO!
Is this sacrilegious? No!
Is advancement of the knowledge of what is good unscriptural? No!
Is this abnormal? No!
Does this desecrate the walls of the "church"? No!
1 Corinthians 13:9,10,12, KJV
9. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
12. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
I think I should rest my case here untill then, when I shall see Him face to face.
Thank you!
Much Love!
