I don't know if you're like Nkechi, whose goal of starting a business was to "be her own boss".

Lols, I'm so sorry to break it to you, running a business doesn't make you your own boss.

Your customers are your bosses!!! I'm sorry, I know it's hard to swallow, but it's the truth.

You know, in paid employment your employer determines how much you make, in business your customers determine how much you make. 

The amount of money you're making now in business is dependent on the number of people (customers/clients) you are serving. 

So, here are 20 ways to impress your customers:

1. Folake, your customers like it when you respond to their messages swiftly, it gives them so much joy.

2. Your customers like it when you pay attention to details, this shows that you care about them, and even about the little things. 

3. Your customers are going through so much Nkechi, they would appreciate it when you over-deliver on what you promise. 

4. Your customers like it when you give them little incentives for their consistent patronage towards your business. 

5. Your customers like it when you give them good deals (offers), they love good deals, please give it to them.

6. Your customers like it when you communicate and keep them posted about ongoing projects or jobs. 

7. Your customers love it when you can address the concerns they have around your products and services. 

8. Your customers love it when you're consistent across all your brand touchpoints, e.g: Social media, some of them bought from you because of how consistent you were. 

9. Your customers love it when you offer excellent, friendly, prompt customer services.

10. Your customers love it when you make it easy for them to buy from you in any condition. 

11. Your customers would forever be grateful to you if you can anticipate their needs and offer a solution before they ask for them.

12. Your customers love it when you value their feedback on your products and services.
