A COMPREHENSIVE REPORT ON THE WORLD DAY OF PASTORS' WIVES HELD AT THE NEW COVENANT BAPTIST CHURCH, BEHIND LIBERATION STADIUM, ELEKAHIA, PORT HARCOURT, RIVERS STATE, NIGERIA ON 13TH - 14TH NOVEMBER, 2023.
ORGANIZER/SPONSOR: The Pastor's Wife Welfare Organization Int'l
INTRODUCTION: This is a comprehensive report on the just concluded WORLD DAY OF PASTORS' WIVES with its theme "FLOURISH", held on the 13th and 14th days of November, 2023 at the New Covenant Baptist Church, behind Liberation Stadium, ELEKAHIA, Port Harcourt, Rivers State of Nigeria but organized and sponsored by The Pastor's Wife Welfare Organization Int'l, a Global Non-denominational Christian Organization with the sole aim of carrying out Researches, Training, giving of Welfare/Care, Love and Hope to the Pastors' Wives, Female Ministers and the body of Christ, the Church.
EXPLANATION: WORLD DAY OF PASTORS' WIVES is an annual event and a day (every 14th November) set aside for the celebration, honouring, appreciation, loving back, giving hope and caring for all the Pastors' Wives and the Female Ministers who have severally carried the burden of Church/Ministry growth and soul winning. It's a day to say "thank you" to them.
FACTS: On the 13th and 14th days of November, 2023 the above mentioned global event with its theme FLOURISH was celebrated at the above mentioned venue. It was done with the help of all the chapter members who rallied round in prayers, donations of various types which included money, moral encouragements, and much more; even to an unexpected extent.
ATTENDANCE: About 46 participants were in attendance. The celebration was not massively attended as expected owing to some challenges which includes global economic crunch, especially in Nigeria where we just received a new President who is still putting things in order for a favourable economy.
CHALLENGES: We encountered a lot of challenges before, during and after the event. First in our encountered challenges was shortage of fund, then accommodation, ill-health of members and death of loved ones which, to a greater degree, contributed to the poor attendance. In addition to the above, our publicity flexes were stollen by unknown persons.
SUCCESS: The event was hitch free, connections were made, networks were created, new friends were made, our physical and spiritual persons were fed with enough meal. The attendees had a to-and-from fair trips. New ideas and strategies discovered for future growth and harvest. The organization was announced to the world, so much so that about 2000 persons joined The Pastor's Wife Institute on Facebook while about 41 persons joined The Pastor's Wife Institute on WhatsApp.
Below were the expenses and the incomes made to and from the event which turned a huge success.
