HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT TO MAKE MONTHLY?

Today, I want to teach you the simple maths logic that helped me transition from paid employment to owning my business.

It was a simple monthly income maths logic plan.

I believe that this maths can actually help solve a lot of life problems, because it helps you take decisions with ease.

Here it goes:

I had told myself that I will quit paid employment at 35 and become my own boss.

But I needed a plan.

I deviced this simple mathematics plan.

I took out a sheet of paper and wrote down my monthly salary.

Let's just assume it was say, 200k Naira 

Then I asked myself - "How many customers/clients do I need to pay me this 200k every month?"

I responded to myself, "If each client pays say 50k Naira, I would need 4 clients".

But clients can owe and pay late.

If I need to compare client payments against salary, I need to also consider that salary comes in one bulk.

So I need to add a buffer to cover up the difference between salary and customer payments.

Then I added say, 2 more clients paying 50k each.

That brings it to 300k a month earned from 6 clients.

This became my decision trigger.

If I could hit 6 clients paying 50k each monthly, thats 300k, then I would resign.

Simple decision trigger based on simple logical reasoning.

I started working on it.

From April 2015 to December 2015, I hit my target and I quit paid employment.

Jan2016, I launched Accountinghub.

Launching Accountinghub went on to become one of the top decisions in my life (My best life decision is marrying my Mr. Eze).

Today, I am sharing this teaching not just for those who want to transition into business from career - No.

I am sharing it for everyone to learn how to use a simple decision trigger that is scientific-based to make your next move.

Asides being a decision trigger, it helps you have a crystal clear target/goal to work towards.

Here's an example:

Imagine a housewife saying to herself, if I can make 100k profit at home, without seeking any capital from my spouse, I will go ahead to seek capital and start my business.

Then she sits down and does a plan to dropship entry-level laptops to fellow housewives who want to upskill.

From importer to end user, she makes 18k profit per laptop sold. Her plan is to hit 6 sales (that's 100k profit) so she can then formalize selling entry-level laptops plus computer training to stay-at-home mums.

You see how this same logic can change the life of a stay-at-home mum?

It can work for absolutely anyone.

So please, use the Chioma's maths logic decision trigger and step into your next phase.

Keep it simple.

Keep it logical.

Keep it achievable.

Remember, a tiny step is a step.

Even though you started with tiny steps, you can take bigger steps as you move along the journey.

There is no rule that the first step must be a giant step.
