THE MINISTRY OF IDENTIFICATION

THE MINISTRY OF IDENTIFICATION

This is the act and process of recognising and aligning with your lineage or bloodline as a Christ believer.

What is your bloodline?

Matthew 1:2-19, KJV

2. Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;

3. And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;

4. And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;

5. And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;

6. And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;

7. And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;

8. And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;

9. And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;

10. And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;

11. And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:

12. And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;

13. And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;

14. And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;

15. And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;

16. And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

17. So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.

18. Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

19. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.

Identifying with your bloodline gives you a specific identity.

It will be difficult to know your lineage if you don't know whom you are.

Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Here, Paul was conveying a message about his new nature and routing it to Jesus Christ. He aligns his new bloodline with/to Christ.

I have been crucified with Christ ...

Telling people that he now has a new bloodline thereby wipping off his old lineage.

It's no longer his old nature that came from Tarsus in the present day Turkey but a new person in Christ.

For those who are in Christ Jesus, they lost their old bloodline and should make every possible effort to identify with their new bloodline which is the lineage of Jesus Christ.

What is the "Effort" you are to make? Only Believe and Confess. Believe in Him and Confess Him.

What did Apostle Paul mean when he said, "I have been crucified with Christ"?

He actually meant that he has been taken away from all laws of the flesh. Whatever rules the flesh is no more ruling him. He meant that he is dead to human nature and fleshly control. He meant that he's now in Christ therefore does not live by and for the things of the world.

In the Pauline further ministry of Identification, he said that he died with Christ.

This is same with us.

He also said that he was buried with Christ.

This is also same with us.

He keeps identifying with his new bloodline.

We are one with Christ in Righteousness.

How did this 👆 happen and what does it mean to be one with Christ in Righteousness?

For us to be one with Christ in Righteousness, Christ first became ONE WITH US IN SIN.

He became one with us in sin so He can take away the sin and replace it with His Righteousness.

We have no righteousness of our own, we dwell in the righteousness of Christ.

We are one with Christ in Righteousness because we are co-heirs with Him.

From the day we BELIEVED we became one with Him in His Righteousness.

Remember, He did not become one with us in our sin on our daily living but ON THE CROSS.

It was on the cross that He United with us in sin and He did this so He can take it away from there.

How did we become one with Him in Righteousness?

Now, read this;

When He died, we died with Him.

When He was buried, we were buried with Him.

And, when He resurrected, we resurrected with Him.

Then, we became one with Him in His Resurrection.

He resurrected and dropped off sin.

We resurrected with Him and also dropped off sin

On the resurrection with Him, we became new creatures.

That was the process through which we became new creatures and righteous.

Eph. 2:6, KJV
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
